Kimico Ltd. announces a major update for their BookBuddy app. The app has now been updated to utilize enhanced barcode scanning.

Herzeliya, Israel -- (SBWire) -- 05/18/2017 --Kimico Ltd. has just announced a major update for their BookBuddy app utilizing enhanced barcode scanning.

BookBuddy is a book management app for iPhone and iPad that enables users to catalog their books and periodicals, categorize them using tags they create, and sort by Title, Author, Genre, Rating or any other classification that would help them to find the right book for their need. The app has a fan following among teachers and individuals as it simplifies the process of finding, organizing, and quickly obtaining information on a publication.

BookBuddy provides a barcode scanner as its primary method of adding books into the user's library. Previously, BookBuddy searched scanned barcodes against a single online database, and while this was effective in most cases there were some books that could not be found. The recent update has increased its compatibility with online databases and now searches the largest and world-leading bibliographic databases to bring book information to the user.
