The rich history surrounding the Rotherwas Industrial Estate draws visitors in daily, for it has been there since World War 1. The building known as 701 which now houses all the available pieces was constructed during World War 2, in 1942. Warehouse 701 was originally a storage facility for the completed ammunition shells.

Since 1954, Wye Valley Reclamation, now Warehouse 701, had been in the business of trading architectural salvage pieces. In 2001, Warehouse 701 expanded to include selling of garden, home, and structural materials.

In January 2017, the completed showroom was opened to the public, and visitors have had the chance to see reclaimed architecture at it's greatest form. From the intricate lighting down to any reclaimed piece furniture you see inside, it is all for sale. Every item or material used just displays how much sustainability means to business, all items used in the new showroom were either recycled, refurbished or repurposed.

Warehouse 701, has expanded its products to include not only refurbished building materials, but garden furniture and accessories, homeware, and products from Annie Sloan.
