Local Eye Doctor's Office Displays Artwork Created by Artists with Special Needs
Professional VisionCare sets up a special gallery in their most recent community initiative, living up to their mission: Not Your Ordinary Eye Doctors.
Westerville, OH -- (SBWire) -- 06/29/2017 --Professional VisionCare is currently hosting artwork from the Open Door Art Studio & Gallery, a local studio that gives artists with disabilities the opportunity to actualize their dreams and create masterpieces. The artwork is sold at art shows – including from the display at this optometry practice.
With offices in Westerville and Johnstown, Ohio, Professional VisionCare's skilled and compassionate optometrists dedicate themselves to improving the quality of life for every patient. Twelve years ago, they built a specialized office to meet the unique needs of children and special needs patients. The new art gallery with pieces created by disabled artists is located at this site. This latest community initiative is just one more proof that they are Not Your Ordinary Eye Doctors.
"We are honored to highlight the artwork of our special needs community and share these beautiful pictures with our patients. Our office is like a gallery that changes constantly, as soon as a creative masterpiece finds a new home," says Dr. Carole R. Burns, FCOVD.
The eye doctors at Professional VisionCare have been serving the greater Columbus, Ohio, area and special needs community with a complete suite of optometry services for 33 years. Their goal is to be a force of good in the community, and to change lives through innovative vision care. They provide a full, extensive range of advanced eye care services to patients of all ages and stages of development, including comprehensive eye exams, vision testing, vision therapy and precisely manufactured, durable quality eyeglasses and contact lenses.
It is widely recognized that Professional VisionCare goes beyond the standard level of medical eye care. In 2016, they received the prestigious title Best in Patient Experience – an honor presented during a ceremony by the Transitions Lens International Innovation Awards program, in Orlando, Florida. As a close-knit "family" of optometrists with high credentials and unique specialties, these eye doctors strive to treat patients the way they would like themselves and their families to be treated.
Professional VisionCare aims to be much more than just an optometry office. This practice grew out of a passion to optimize sight with top medical expertise and state-of-the-art equipment – all offered within a stress-free, relaxing setting. The Open Door Art Studio & Gallery exhibition goes hand in hand with their goals, and enhances the eye care clinic with attractive décor and a welcoming environment that shows genuine appreciation of all their diverse patients.
