Nevertheless, nearly 70% of Taiwan-made smartphones still run iOS in the first quarter of 2017. In the same quarter, the consolidate share of Taiwanese smartphones having screen sizes between 5.5" and 6", and between 4.5" and 5.0" reached over 80%. With the industry picking up the growth pace in the second quarter of 2017, the full-year shipment volume is forecast to total about 332.8 million units in 2017.
