Organisers Reveal Event Technology Awards Shortlist

Retford, UK -- (SBWire) -- 07/31/2017 --The 2017 shortlist for the Event Technology Awards (ETA) has been announced, with over 100 companies making the cut in 28 categories. The ceremony will be held at Troxy in East London on Thursday 9th November.

Recognised as the accolade, Event Technology Awards registered another record number of entries. They came from as far away as New Zealand, Australia, Russia and Mexico.

Twenty-one judges, practiced in technology across the event spectrum, from British Athletics to Banks Sadler, will make the final decisions and winners will be revealed at a ceremony that promises more glitter than ever.

Adam Parry, co-founder and commercial director of the ETAs, comments: "Technology makes a bigger, faster mark in events media every year, but the sector itself has always looked for the latest solutions to enhance safety, productivity, the experience and all points between.

"The ETAs is designed to reflect those changes. So congratulations to everyone who made the shortlist. The quality and quantity of the submissions makes that a real achievement in itself and we will celebrate in fitting style on November 9."

Will Poole, Troxy's Event & Compliance Manager, said: "I'm delighted to see the Event Technology Awards coming back to East London. We have invested in some tech of our own since the last time and look forward to welcoming shortlisted companies, their guests and supporters, to Troxy for what will undoubtedly be a great night."

The shortlist for the 'People's Choice' category, voted for by the industry will be revealed in the next few weeks, so not long to wait for those who want to have a say in the award for favourite event technology supplier.
