The world's first 180 degree hd wall light security camera will allow its users to see, hear and speak to anyone who comes near their door from anywhere in the world through their phone or tablet. The concept of Unijem wall light camera comes from Unijem, young tech company that is passionate to develop solutions based on tech and common sense – the light is one of several products already in the pipeline. Upon successful achievement of the funding goal, the final development will be funded; the prototype development and testing have all been completed.

"We have designed the Unijem Light as the answer to the concerns people have about the safety and security of their home," said Unijem's Jay Carty. "It will give you the power to view around your property through live time viewing, switch the light on remotely, take pictures and record video and it comes with dozens of options for colours, so it can match the aesthetics of your home perfectly".

The security provided by the Unijem wall light security camera is multi-level, firstly, the light is fully programmable to give the appearance that there is somebody at home. Users can switch the light on and off using their mobile phone, secondly, Unijem is equipped with a 1080p HD camera and video function to record what is happening around a property. The motion sensor in the wall light alerts the owner when someone approaches a designated area. To make it easier to record videos or take photos in dark or low light conditions the camera has infrared night vision as an added layer of security. In addition, there is a two-way intercom to speak to, when needed and also a built in siren alarm which can be activated remotely from a mobile phone.
