Cleveland, OH -- (SBWire) -- 02/06/2018 --Amber McVicker, a junior Applied Science in Health and Information Management major, was chosen as the recipient of the $1,000 scholarship by the Factor Finders committee based on her unique response to the prompt, "The internet has forever changed our society, but for good or bad?"

After her undergraduate career at the University of Cincinnati, McVicker plans to continue gaining experience in her current position at a home health company. After she further develops her supervisory skills, she eventually hopes to branch off into the legal aspect of the healthcare world. She said she wants to "help people keep their medical records safe and learn to advocate for themselves."

Undergraduate students attending an accredited four-year college or university in Ohio are encouraged to submit an application essay. Factor Finders has opportunities for students to apply in the spring and fall semesters, each academic school year. Submissions for fall of 2018 are currently being accepted.
