Norristown, PA -- (SBWire) -- 03/13/2018 --Elmwood Park Zoo, home of zip lines for kids in Chester County, PA, and other local areas, looks forward to hosting the Animals A to Z spring break camp later this month. From March 26th until March 30th, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m., children within the ages of 6-10 will scour the zoo in search of animals whose names correspond to a letter in the alphabet (A is for alligator, B is for bison, and so on).

Each day will offer a different selection of letters as well as various hands-on animal activities, crafts, games, and stories for the kids. Snacks will be provided (fresh fruit and a carb), although the children will need to bring a lunch. Prices include $45 for each member child per day and $50 for each non-member child per day.

The camp counselors at Elmwood Park Zoo are screened for excellence in children's programs. Each counselor is required to have previous experience with children, and many of them return to the zoo year after year. All staff and volunteers at the zoo have successfully passed a criminal background check by the Pennsylvania Child Care Registry. The same counselors work with the same campers every day.

Elmwood Park Zoo is also the host of a ropes course for kids in Chester County, PA, as well as the surrounding areas. The course features more than 50 challenge games and zip lines above the ground in the trees of the zoo.
