It is highly resistant to high temperature and chemicals. PCTFE is primarily used in specialty applications in chemical, electrical, and aerospace industries. It is similar to teflon with slight difference in chemical structure PCTFE offers unique combination of physical and mechanical properties. These include non-flammability, high optical transparency, chemical resistance, and near zero moisture absorption. Once cooled, PCTFE gets lighter, transparent, and more elastic.
