This site is the first complete FFXIV database, with detailed information about items, skills, NPCs, quests, guildleves, and more.

FFXIV, Square Enix's second venture into the MMORPG genre, is the sequel to Final Fantasy XI (FFXI). It was first mentioned in August 2005 under the codename "Rapture", and has been much awaited by the gaming community since then. FFXIV features elements similar to FFXI, such as experience-based level-progression, but will also include "skill-based progression", which is similar to that of Final Fantasy II. Its job system, referred to as the "Armoury System", enables players to take on various roles of their choosing (such as Thaumaturge or Archer) simply by wielding different weapons.

The database also includes a collection of zone maps to help players navigate through the world of Eorzea. Like their other database sites, YG.com's Final Fantasy XIV database provides syndication tools for users' websites, which include item tooltips, the YG FFXIV search box, and a browser plug-in that allows anyone to search for something in the database straight from their browsers.
