The beautiful Gaudi building is on track to be completed, however due to the lack of appropriate stone in Barcelona, a Lancashire quarry, Brinscall Quarry, has stepped in, and is going to be supplying builders in Barcelona with the special rock required to complete the iconic Gaudi masterpiece on a weekly basis.
This is really new for Lancashire, especially those involved in the quarrying and stone processes as it means that there work will be a part of history.
