"We are very proud to have opened our first two Puddingstone Place locations in Middleboro and Wellesley. Our facilities are the foundation for the next step in supporting individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities to enjoy a better overall quality of life. We couldn't be happier starting this national revolution from a more apt place than Boston, Massachusetts," said Elaine Crosby, CEO of Puddingstone Place.

The Visual Immersion SystemTM (VIS), developed by Dr. Shane, is a comprehensive framework and instructional philosophy for supporting communication and teaching language skills to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. In addition to supporting a more traditional, spoken-language approach, the VIS also includes a strong focus on use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to help bring about measurable progress in learners with a broad range of diagnoses, profiles, communication modalities, and goals.
