Children at said state school now take lessons in using saws, sharp knives and air rifles and are even taught how to cook over an open fire. This is said to provide the students with a real sense of achievement while supplying them with skills that they could possibly need later on in life.
Students at the school are required to learn how to use an air rifles safely and correctly, and taught how to hunt. They have to go out in all weather conditions to take these lessons too. A few people have complained, under the impression that handling air rifles is unsafe but many agree that learning how to use them correctly this early on in life could assist in the pupils avoiding any potential injuries and mistakes in the future.
