Search Mode:
You can use the search mode option to define how content is searched. Available options include:
Match All Words – This method requires that every word entered into the search box be matched in the content. If any words are missing the content is not returned.
Match Any Word – Using this method, if any of the words entered in the search box are found, the content will be returned.
Match exact Phrase – This method requires that the exact words in the same order as entered in the search box be found in the content.
Boolean Expression – This method allows for advanced search operations such as
Search Type:
This option allows you to limit your search to a specific content type such as only press releases or only multimedia.
Search Scope:
This option controls what elements of the content are searched. You may choose to search only the content’s title or the content’s full description.
By Date:
This option allows you to filter content based on it was published. You can select a starting date (yesterday, a week ago, 2 weeks ago, a month ago, 3 months ago, 6 months ago or a year ago) and then choose to go forward or back from that point in time.
Sort Results by:
This option allows you to set the sorting order of your search results. You can choose to sort results by search relevance, content title alphabetically, or published date.
Results Per Page:
This option allows you to control how many search results are placed on each page. The default is 20 items.
