Cardigan, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/10/2017 -- A shooting community in Yorkshire has raised £162,000 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, a charity which was founded in 1824 and since then has saved 139,000 lives for people at sea in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The shooting community was able to raise enough money to provide the charity with two lifeboats meaning that they can have one on the north east coast too. The event to raise money for this charity was held in East Yorkshire and included a ball, auction and clay pigeon shooting.

A spokesperson from Sport Guns was incredibly keen to comment saying, "We were incredibly pleased when we heard about the event which was held, not only did it raise a huge amount of money for such a great charity but also raised awareness of the RNLI.
