This award came on the back of the premium spirit winning the "Australia's Best Brandy in 2018". This is the second win in arrow, which is pointer to the Waterviews' Convict Brandy is here to stay.

Commenting on the award, company re-founder Matthew Drane said, "Waterview's Convict Brandy has already proven itself in global awards. What's exciting now is to be able to give the spirit a home. All of the Waterview 'limited release' products have had an association with a geographical region or town. In the second round, each category winner was then tasted against others to find the World's Best. Following the final tasting on the 18th of April in London, Convict by Waterview emerged the winner and becomes the "World's Best Brandy, 2019."
