Calgary, AB -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/19/2014 -- Everyone is aware that angels can decide the fate of mortals but, in a bold and powerful new novel by L. Bilt, this balance of power is tipped on its head to prove that the reverse is also possible. At the same time, the eternal battle between Heaven and Hell plays out as a new hero emerges with love as his greatest weapon.
It all plays out in ‘A Hero Among the Angels’, which will leave readers needing only the edges of their seats.
The battle between Heaven and Hell is about to change its course.
A new kind of hero has emerged from the mortals.
When Tom Nolan’s morning at the park is interrupted by the enigmatic Damian Na Imad, his life takes an extraordinary turn. Through Damian’s guidance, Tom learns of his unique gifts and abilities, and embarks on a quest to reestablish the balance between Heaven and Hell. Mankind now has someone to fight for them. An angel soul in a human body, Tom – Sariel – will transform into something that even the archangels didn’t know could exist.
“While this is of course fiction, the narrative has heaps of relevance to the real world,” admits Bilt. “Readers will discover the true potential of love, hope and listening to the very core of the human condition. Humanity often battles within itself, but we must learn to trust each other and our abilities if we are to overcome evil. That’s why Nolan is such a great hero; he’s a hero for the people and also for the angels.”
Continuing, “If readers can believe in their hearts they can change the course of any event during their life. Something good exists in everyone and, by reading my book, anyone can learn to see it.”
Bilt diligently designed his narrative to appeal to as wide an audience as possible.
“There’s no religion in the book, but those of faith will see their values reflected within the story. Equally, those of no faith will appreciate the humanist angle I take. Young and old will find my words accessible; everything was purposely created to exclude no one,” he adds.
