Advanced Hospitality Systems Announces the Release of NCR Aloha POS Software Version 12.3 with Improved Features

Voorhees, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/28/2015 -- In the hospitality industry, no two factors are more crucial to providing excellent service than speed and accuracy. With the help of Aloha POS software and terminals, businesses are able to serve customers faster and dramatically increase communication between customer, front-of-house staff and the rest of the team working alongside them. A good POS system makes the difference between a company that serves clientele, and a company that serves them well. Now, Advanced Hospitality Systems announces that version 12.3 of their time-tested Aloha POS software is available for purchase, with improved features that have been tailored even further to meet client demands.

NCR Aloha POS 12.3 is updated to include dozens of changes that significantly streamline and simplify various processes that are standard in the hospitality industry. While these numerous changes cover many areas of the transaction process, some highlights include:

-Increased support for "Family Style" ordering, including two new price tiers, availability of multiple Family Style orders per check, and the ability to split Family Style items by guest type.

-The ability to apply a comp to a check using a bar code scan.

-The display of all tenders, including those which were unused, at the end of the night, a change from prior versions wherein unused tenders could not be edited by managers at reconciliation.

-The capacity to modify an item after it has already been sent to the kitchen, which reduces the number of voids and re-rings in settings where customers frequently change their orders.

-An Auto-Apply BOGO option to automatically discount the least expensive items on an order.

-A variety of improved Management Features, including the ability to:

o Calculate tippable sales for servers or calculate tipshare on drinks alone.

o Configure an unlimited number of sales and retail categories beyond the previous limit of 40.

o Add a minimum and maximum to service charge percentages

o Accept 4-decimal place numbers for percentage discounts.

The new Aloha Communication Layer (ACL) is a more secure, preferred communication method that eliminates the NetBIOS protocol requirements, and adds additional enhancements to comply with the most recent credit, debit and gift card regulations.

Advanced Hospitality Systems is proud to announce these and a myriad of other improvements that continue to make the Aloha software a cutting-edge industry leader in POS software.
