Advanced Robotix Releases World's First Drone Wrist Remote

Intuitive Controls; Dedicated Buttons for Takeoff, Return and Landing

Miami, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/13/2015 -- Advance Robotix Corporation, the UAV industry innovators that created the revolutionary FLYBi personal drone, today released the new Wrist Control, the world's first true drone remote control to be worn the user's wrist. The Wrist Control enables hands-free operation of the drone, offering intuitive controls and dedicated buttons for takeoff, photo, video, hold position, return and landing.

"As engineers, we thought through what advanced drone fliers really want," says owner and CEO of Advance Robotix Corporation TimVoss. "They want their hands free while they are operating the UAV – or least they want that option. The Wrist Remote lets them do everything they could do with the regular controls or head-tracker goggles."

A built-in 1.8" screen with anti-glare glass gives the user a clear view of the drone's camera. The Wrist Remote combines all of the regular drone control's features, only in a form factor that about the size of a large watch. The screen folds out to the side. A miniature joystick allows the user to fly the drone directly from the Wrist Remote. The screen receives images in real time from the FLYBi drone's FPV camera.

FLYBi will be available for pre-order in the late summer 2015 through an upcoming crowdfunding campaign.
