Slough, Berkshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/21/2017 -- Last month Gloucester played host to the Airsoft Surgeon Annual Championship – with airsoft squads coming together from places all across the world including, but not limited to the Philippines, Brazil and Poland. The event was incredibly fun for all, with players of all ages darting around the Morelands Match factory, hitting targets for points with their BB and airsoft guns – with some targets being worth more than £1,000.
The event took place over two days. Players were split up into 14 squads. The event was not ageist, allowing people of all ages to join in – The youngest player was just 7, and the oldest was 70 – highlighting the vast range of people that are interested in airsoft.
The event was not only fun but it was also good for charity. One of the target areas for example was named 'Maggie's' Charity Fund Stage for Cheltenham', based on a superb cause which offers professional support to those with cancer, and also their loved ones.
