Cherry Hill, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/17/2014 -- For sports fans, there’s nothing better than having a favorite athlete sign an item, be it a piece of equipment, picture, jersey, ball or card. This October, the Fanatics Authentic Sports Spectacular is coming to the Greater Philly Expo Center at Oaks, and American Collectors Insurance is excited to announce they will be present in a vendor booth throughout the weekend. Starting Friday, October 17, the show runs until Sunday, October 19, and has free admission for guests all three days.
Guests will see over 150 vendors and have access to a number of highly accredited athletes for autograph sessions. After receiving an autograph, or winning rare Philadelphia sports memorabilia at the Goldin Auctions event, stop by and see American Collectors Insurance for information about how to protect the item. The company will insure any item of value to protect against damage. Damage can come from accidents, weather conditions like floods and hurricanes, theft, and more.
Those in attendance will have the opportunity to bid on some of the most valuable trading cards on the market at the Goldin Auctions event, including the T-206 “Jumbo” Honus Wagner card. Additionally, there will be a 1980 Phillies reunion with appearances by Pete Rose, Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Bob Boone, Larry Bowa, and more. Take advantage of attending during the Eagles bye week, and meet Nick Foles, LeSean McCoy, Connor Barwin, Jordan Matthews, and Riley Cooper on Sunday the 19th.
On Friday, October 17, the convention begins at 4:30 pm and ends at 9 pm. Athletes and vendors will be present all day on Saturday, from 9:30 am until 5 pm, as well as Sunday, from 10 am until 4 pm. When purchasing a VIP ticket, attendees will receive extra benefits to enhance their experience. Don’t miss out on Dan Marino, Mike Tyson, Joe Montana, Sugar Ray Leonard, Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, Tommy Lasorda, Andre Dawson, and more.
The lineup is sure to excite any sports fan, and American Collectors Insurance will be on hand to provide information about how they can insure the memorabilia. They don’t require appraisals, and will pay the full collectible value for collectibles, in case of any damage or a loss. To learn more about their broad insurance coverage of sports memorabilia, please visit their website or check them out at the inaugural Philadelphia show.
