AMG Services has announced an online competition in collaboration with its media partner Home And Recreation to reward the best homes in America.
Billings, MT -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/16/2014 -- Keeping up with its tradition of interacting with its customers, AMG Services has planned a nationwide home decoration competition in collaboration with its media partner Home And Recreation. The participating homeowners will be able to compete for a variety of prizes and the winners will be featured on Home And Recreation as well as in the AMG Services' upcoming Best Homes catalog.
"The project is a part of a wider brand activation campaign, which will include state-level home décor competitions followed by a national-level event," Anita McGuire of AMG Services said. "We are trying to involve the participants in the campaign by combining online media coverage with on ground events and prizes."
AMG Services has been dressing homes for almost two decades and has a new outdoor line in the offing. The current competition, named AMG Best Homes, is planned to kick off in July, and will continue through the winter holidays. Participants will upload photographs and video clips of the interiors of their homes to a website that Home And Recreation is developing for the purpose. The shortlisted properties will be visited by a joint team of Home And Recreation and AMG Services before the winners are decided.
"We'll start with California and New York, moving inland as the campaign progresses," Home And Recreation's Bill Garner said. "The media coverage will include online articles, press releases and videos featuring the best homes and their owners."
The prizes include trips to vacation hotspots, complete home makeovers, cash giveaways, and numerous furnishings and appliances. There will be no entry fee; however, the participants are required to have a piece of AMG furniture at home in order to be eligible.
