Anthony Amado Talks About New Year's Resolutions for Business Success Part Two

Bergen County, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/15/2014 -- In the first part of this two part series, Anthony Amado talked about the importance of reflecting on the past year and planning for how the new year will look. This process is important to help achieve success for the coming year. Even if there were failures or not as much success in the previous year, those situations can be used to improve things for the new year.

There are a few tactics more for setting business resolutions that Anthony Amado has found helpful and would like to share with others looking for business success in 2014.

Learning doesn’t stop when the diploma is hung on the office wall. To be successful in business or anything else, people must continue to learn. Learning doesn’t even have to be related to the business a person is in. For Anthony Amado an added benefit of getting out and taking a class in the community is the opportunity for meeting new people who could be potential colleagues or clients.

Giving back to the community should be at the top of every list for 2014. There is no better PR for a business than the people that work for the business volunteering in the community that supports that business. Anthony Amado stresses that giving back should be more than just giving of money. People should make sure that actual time is spent volunteering.

Finally, when looking at the coming year, Anthony Amado notes that it is important to look at what worked in the previous year and what didn’t. Dropping whatever didn’t work in the previous year opens up space and time for new tactics and ideas that can lead to success in the coming year.
