Shippensburg, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/24/2016 -- Aron Lyrd is a man who has overcome great personal physical trauma, to rise against all odds so he can spread a message of hope and strength through his musical work that ranges from pop and electronic to alternative and rock. Currently, Aron is working on his E.P which will feature some of his strongest work yet, however, to achieve this goal he needs a little assistance and support from the online crowd. Recently, a crowdfunding campaign was set up on the most popular crowdfunding platform for creative projects- Kickstarter, the aim of the campaign is to raise funds for a high-quality E.P that best showcases Aron's spirit and hard work. Aron requires funding to spark his project to life and cover production and marketing costs. The crowdfunding campaign has a funding goal of at least $1,000 to be raised by Sun, Jul 10, 2016.
Aron's interest in music and all things creative started at a very young age, even as a child, people close to him could sense that Aron had a creative spark that could ignite a successful career in music. However, nobody had anticipated Aron's determination and strenght would make his musical journey unlike any other. In the year 2004, Aron contracted transverse myelitis, a neurological disorder that causes swelling in the spine, which led to a stroke from a blood clot that left him nearly fully paralyzed. For most, such an unfortunate turn of events would mark the end of their musical dream, but Aron proved that he is the exception by overcoming extraordinary adversity through sheer force of will and determination. He eventually regained the use of his arm and began exercising his creativity by writing poetry which also facilitated his rehabilitation.
Talking about the importance of music and poetry in his life, Aron said that music has become something special for him, both as a tool for dealing with his personal physical trauma and for reaching out across the world to share his message of hope. In the process both rediscovering himself as a person and developing as an artist. "I am in fact paralyzed from the rib cage downward and have the autoimmune disease systemic lupus, but this hasn't stopped me from going fater my dream. I need only a minimum of $1000 from my campaign to afford the professional recording studio time to be able to finish an E.P. that would allow me to produce good quality work that my listeners and I would be proud of." Aron said of his current situation and the plans for his project.
Aron's amazing ability to overcome all odds does not end on his remarkable recovery, he is also extremely talented. Besides writing the lyrics for his songs, Aron Lyrd is a one man band; everything from arranging the music using computer generated sounds of instruments including guitars, bass, piano, and drums, to the vocal and recording has been done by Aron himself. Not the one to limit his musical artistic abilities, Aron has explored different genres and styles of music, before finally creating a signature alternative music style that features a heavy mix of guitars, deep meaningful lyrics, drums, a music synthesizer, turntables and to top it all off - Aron's impressive vocals.
Rock n Roll fans from around the world have taken a liking to Aron's work, he has an impressive fan following across social networking websites, including Soundcloud which features some of Aron's work including his single titled 'Day Dreams', which has gotten quite a following on Soundcloud with over 7,000 plays. His amazing story and remarkable talent have also attracted the attention of promoters and recording labels. Aron is currently working with Blue Pie Records. One of the stand-out elements of Aron's work is the poetry and lyrics of the songs which are highly inspired by his own personal struggles and triumphs.
