The informal meet and greet is for attorneys to talk shop and exchange ideas.

"We just want to bring people together to talk. Sometimes you need to see people in the same business you are in, but outside of the office," said Josie Harris-Walton, a partner info the Coleman and Walton law firm and the sponsor for the meet. "It's like a business after hours meeting, but we're inviting attorneys instead of all business owners."

The holiday-timed meeting is set for a Friday afternoon to give everyone who wants to attend time to get there without interfering with any other evening activities.

"We understand that people like to have Friday evenings for family and friends. Go out to eat, see a movie or do something else. By having this after 4 p.m., we leave everyone plenty of time to head out later," said Ms. Harris-Walton. "Come out and have a good time. Hopefully you will leave with some valuable new contacts and maybe some good ideas."
