Australian Banjo Enteratiner Launches Indiegogo to Record Album

Epic Banjo Selections on Album 7 Years In the Making

Merimbula, Australia -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/19/2014 -- Who's Michael Young? Not just an oyster farmer, this talented banjo aficionado, Michael Banjo Young - hailing from New South Wales, Australia - brings his mission of presenting the banjo through all genres of music to reality by launching his Indiegogo campaign to finish the production of his album, Hooked on Banjo, a finesse seven years in the making.

Just as when he is harvesting oysters, he chooses the best species and the best harvest times, Michael also has a keen ability to surround himself with the very best in key people who aren't just musicians, but craftsman who are artisans at making music. For instance, the arranger of Michael's Broadway Medley was American concert pianist Mac Frampton.

Michael's Movie Medley was converted from a simple melody hummed into a recorder by New York singer Karen Saunders to a complete manuscript by Maestro Joe Paparone. And all of the arrangements have been supervised by musical arranger and sequencer, Claus Zimmer, percussionist in the Basil Philharmonic Orchestra in Switzerland. Also helping with music on this album were recording producer John Drakopoulos and twins Geoff and David Willis.

This unique album has also chosen a unique release, as it will be available as a USB Ukulele or Banjo keyring.

This unique musical release offers many perks to angel investors who help it through production finalization. From a mere free song download, all perks include a free album with high level givers receiving a free hand-crafted Joey Banjo and a free 30 minute concert for a private party. There are also inclusions in CD cover credits or the big chinchilla that includes a 10 day stay in Merimbula while recording on one of Michael's tracks using any instrument of your choice – including airfare and accommodation.
