New York City Native and author Marni Fechter, began her event career as the assistant to what the NY Times called New York’s “Party Auteur”, Phillip Baloun. “For nearly three decades, he orchestrated some of the most glittering fund-raisers and society soirees in New York City and around the world.”   A former social worker, Marni’s work with Philp thrust  her from working with the city’s most disenfranchised to the world of  NY’s most elite “1-percenters” on the social scene.

Though her first book is a work of fiction, her life experience seems to flow effortlessly into her leading character Melody, a vibrant female protagonist, with an amiable demeanor, that finds her vibrancy challenged daily by the guru of NY’s social set.
