The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is held each year to raise money for the benefit of the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Valley School, an organization that provides education and lifetime opportunities for adults and children with developmental disabilities. Now in its 32nd year, the Pittsburgh Grand Prix continues to provide a world-class vintage racing event for car fans while raising money for good causes. The event started as a single day race in Schenley Park, but today it has grown into a spectacle taking place over several weekends with multiple events, car shows, and attractions.
The Kick-Off Rally will be held on Sunday, July 6th, with the first car off at 11:31am. This opening event lasts 2-3 hours and tests drivers’ navigation skills as they wind through the streets of Pittsburgh from the Visitors’ Center in Schenley Park and finishing at the Spaghetti Warehouse in the strip district, where racers and spectators will be treated to a car show and a meal.
