AyurYoga Eco-Ashram Offers a 14-Day Certification Course on Ayurveda in India

Karnataka, India -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/16/2018 -- AyurYoga Eco-Ashram, a non-profit organization run by spiritual seekers, is offering a 14-day Ayurveda Certification Course nearby Mysure, India. Interested individuals can choose between the May 25 to June 7, 2018 and December 20, 2018 to January 9, 2019 schedules.

Ayurveda aims to prevent diseases and preserve health through meditation, yoga, and nutrition. It's not only about the body, but also about achieving holistic harmony and balance in spirit, body, and mind. Ayurveda hospitals and resorts don't teach or explain the underlying knowledge behind this practice. While there are Ayurvedic medicines that can be purchased over the counter or online, customers are not assured that these medications will really work. Without proper diet and lifestyle changes and diagnosis, oral medicines may not provide the desired effect. To address these concerns, AyurYoga Eco Ashram has decided to offer short-term Ayurveda courses in India to help people apply this practice in their daily lifestyle.

Ashram's unique location and closeness to nature make it the perfect place to practice yoga and Ayurveda in India. Lessons are held in an eco-friendly infrastructure surrounded by a sacred forest of 10,000 trees, organic farm and yoga spaces, which is beneficial to spiritual practices. There's also a library with multimedia and used books on spirituality as well as cultural wisdom. The Ayurveda training course is taught by experienced Ayurveda doctors from Ayurveda families. It's open to massage therapists, doctors, yoga teachers, nurses and other alternative medical practitioners who already know how the body works. The course is also ideal for those who want to study Ayurveda in India. Even those who don't have any health or medical background and just want to learn more about the human body can enroll in the program. In order to get the certification for 100 hours of Ayurveda training, participants have to complete at least 8 hours a day and 100 hours in 2 weeks.

AyurYoga's Ayurveda course consists of meditation sessions and yoga classes, which are important components of Ayurveda. Those who don't want to be part of meditation sessions and yoga classes will get a certificate for 50 hours. This course, however, isn't an Ayurveda Massage course and this certification isn't accredited with any medical bodies or government around the world.

The Ayurveda course will teach students about the history and philosophy of Ayurveda, effects of Fire-Tissue-Waste in maintaining the body, constitutions of the mind and body based on five elements and subtle anatomy of the human body. Students will also learn how to do proper detoxification, the effects of weather and season in one's life, how to improve daily life schedule to reset the body's bio-clock, how to deal with diseases at the root, how to find one's Dosha and rejuvenate cellular metabolism. The course includes practical workshops including pulse training, Ayurvedic cooking classes, 8-fold diagnosis, Marma points for self-healing, full body self-massage, Dinacharya techniques for daily detox and basics of Abhyanga or massage to others.

Students will learn how to make herbal medicines at home, prepare subtle teas and tastes and massage the head, hands, feet, and face. The course also includes daily meditation, video shows on Ayurveda, Christmas and New Year celebrations, 1-day trip to Kerala Forests to look for herbs, nature walks in the countryside and chanting of mantras. Daily yoga classes are held separately for intermediate and beginners.
