Cape Town, South Africa -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/30/2014 -- Only a couple of years after Baileys Cottage was renovated, it is now open for business and offers guests the opportunity to stay and enjoy the amenities at a heritage home. With its unique architecture and location at Surfer’s Corner, it is the ideal place to go on vacation.
In an interview, the site manager says the goal is to provide guests with a one of a kind holiday accommodation in Cape Town. The cottage has enough room for six guests to sleep in and there is a full complement of towels and linen available. There is also a DVD player and satellite TV for the guests’ entertainment.
In addition to the cottage amenities and accommodations, the company also offers the services of a maid six days a week. A spokesman also says there’s a concierge service that takes guests to all the major tourist destinations, and includes stopovers to museums, the township, wine estates and more.
Apart from the services mentioned above, guests can also visit many of the other attractions in Western Cape and go on various tours. In an interview with one of the staff members, it’s said that guests can go on a whole Cape Peninsula Day Tour complete with a stopover at Boulder’s Beach as well as Cape Point.
In the past, the idea of self catering accommodation in Cape Town was practically unheard of and certainly not something to look forward to. However, the cottage aims to change that with the special services they intend to provide guests and adventure seekers.
