Hong Kong, China -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/14/2014 -- Ban G. Tong has retired as a member of the Board of Directors of Waldmann Asset Management

Ban G. Tong has been a director of Waldmann Asset Management since the firm first started its business in the Asia Pacific Region. During that time, he has served with distinction as chairman of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and the Compensation Committee.

Waldmann Asset Management today announced the appointment of Ben Chang as an independent director of the corporation. Mr. Chang will serve on the Audit, Compensation and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committees of the Board. With the addition of Mr. Chang, the Waldmann Asset Management Board has 13 directors, of whom ten are independent directors.
