Bastille Day 2015 at Paris on Ponce

Cabaret, circus, burlesque and vaudeville entertainment wrapped in an entertainment package that pays tribute to the French Revolution!

Atlanta, GA -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/19/2015 -- The Imperial OPA circus, the home town circus of Atlanta GA, has partnered with Paris on Ponce to produce a theatrical experience unlike any other. According to the Imperial OPA's webpage, "The show loosely follows the historical events that led to the beginning of the French revolution (marked by the storming of the Bastille) while presenting lighthearted comedy, exceptional skill, grace, performance, and elegant burlesque dancers baring it all for the sake of art. "

The producer and artistic director of the show Tim Mack had this to say about the production when asked. "It's going to be off the chain plain and simple, the best thing going on in Atlanta on July 18 - no questions asked! The French helped the American revolutionaries win at Yorkshire in 1862, gave us the framework for the modern republic, and... crazy hats, the French kiss, what's not to love? This show will attempt to capture the Bastille Day spirit while providing an entertainment experience some may find educational, some may find funny, but all will find truly entertaining!"

With special musical guests "The Black Sheep Ensemble" (, an Atlanta cultural icon and sensational marching band that will be backing the show, a selection of world traveled circus and burlesque performers, it's no wonder the critics are clamoring for front row seats.

The show has a one day run only on July 18th 2015 with three show times (6pm, 9pm, and midnight.) Each show is about 1 hour and 15 minutes in length and the doors will open a half hour before start time.
