Bella Bathrooms are happy to credit their young apprentices with helping them to expand their business as they look to continue their links with ITEC North East.
Bowburn, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/19/2015 -- Established in 2005 Bella Bathrooms is a specialist online bathroom retailer based in Bowburn, Durham. The company are proud to be supporters of the local community and promote the training of young people in the area through the ITEC apprenticeship scheme.

Now in their tenth year of business this online company has continued to grow and they are happy to accept this growth is credited to apprentices both past and present.
The association has helped them to reap the rewards of training their staff in house by creating a team with business specific training. Bella Bathrooms will continue this link with ITEC as they look to develop the company further over the coming years.
The office manager, Sarah has overseen the recruitment of suitable apprentices since 2010 and offers first hand work experience to the candidates necessary for them to complete their apprenticeship frameworks. This enables them to gain the skills to be successful in a variety of roles on the Bella Bathrooms website bellabathrooms.co.uk
With a variety of different roles within Bella Bathrooms, apprentices' training can cover everything from continuous website development and design to customer services dealing with the consumer directly. Apprentices are even offered roles which give them responsibility for preparing merchandise that is ready to be dispatched to the customers.
Previous apprentice Terence Sharp had a particularly fruitful affinity with the company as he developed bespoke software for Bella Bathrooms, the software provides a system that is used by the entire company. This system tracks an order from inception to delivery and is accessible to all members of staff involved at the different stages of the process. This has proved invaluable to the successful running of the company.
Indeed the IT team as a whole are supported by this apprenticeship training scheme plus additional training specific to this area of the business such as SEO and functionality which is particularly important to an online company. This support has helped former apprentices Alex Wilson and Kris Futter to develop their own IT skills and become vital members of the team. Such is there experience they are now capable of supporting any new ITEC recruits.
The development of these apprentices is crucial as Bella Bathrooms aims to expand further in the future. The staff currently process more than 2,000 inquiries per month alongside the 1,000 average monthly orders which will only increase long term.
Both the managers and staff at Bella Bathrooms find that the ITEC apprenticeship scheme is a positive experience for them. This gives the company the ability to mould young people with no previous work experience into valuable assets within a fast moving company. This in house training creates success and provides valuable experience for the future of not only the individuals but the company too.
