Biola Alumnus Donates Invented Guitars to Biola University's Conservatory of Music

 

Lawrenceville, GA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/08/2017 -- The Latest on a donation to Biola University (all times local): An alumnus has donated some newly invented Busuyi Guitars to Biola University, La Mirada — the first ever newly invented guitar donation by a Biola Inventor in Biola University's history.

School's representative said during a campus ceremony Monday that the donation by Dr. Isola O Busuyi, the inventor of the guitar and an alumnus of Biola University will go to Biola University's Conservatory of Music.

The guitars which retails for about $750 each on Amazon.com features a 5 string electric bass combined with a 6 string lead guitar in one. Other models includes the VeeDiv which features a 12 string acoustic electric guitar combined with a 6 string acoustic electric guitar and the VeeRes which combines a 4 string short scale headless bass guitar with a 6 string lead electric guitar.

Dr. Isola graduated in 2002 with a Master of Arts degree in Inter-Cultural Studies. He went on to found Busuyi Guitars, which obtained a 20 year patent on a special type of guitar which combines two guitars into one and saves wood usage by almost 50%. The company currently produces 14 different models of the special guitar.

This donation of an invented guitar by a Biola Inventor is a first in Biola University's history.
