Cody's Appliance Repair

Boise Small Business Recognized as National Leader in Fast Repair Service

Eagle, ID -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/26/2016 -- Cody's Appliance Repair, a Boise, Idaho appliance repair company, was recognized by Rossware Computing at the 2016 Appliance Service Training Institute (ASTI) Awards Banquet on February 18, 2016 as a national leader in fast appliance repair service.

According to Glade Ross, CEO of Rossware Computing, Cody's Appliance Repair completed 9,323 jobs with just 10,885 visits, which equals a job-per-visit rate of just 1.17 trips. This was the lowest job-per-visit rate of all of Rossware Computing's ServiceDesk users in 2015—achieving such a low job visit rate is a major feat for a service company of any size.

Rossware Computing calculated their findings based on ServiceDesk users data nationwide and throughout Canada. When compared with companies on a local and national scale, Cody's delivers a faster repair time by more than 2 days on average.

The official award titled, Fewest Technician Trips per Job, was presented to Cody and Patty Husk during the United Servicers Association's annual ASTI award banquet at the Deauville Beach Resort in Miami, FL.

"Since we opened our doors in 1995, our goal has been to provide superior service for our customers," says Patty Husk, owner of Cody's Appliance Repair. "To achieve that goal, we have strict systems in place to ensure that we complete the repair in as little as one trip whenever possible. We don't want our customers waiting for days for a functioning appliance, so we stock as many parts as possible to ensure a fast turnaround time."

It's no wonder that Cody's is so great at fast service: Their technicians are highly trained in electronic theory and appliance repair technology to ensure accurate diagnosis. "Our technicians are able to diagnose the repair problem accurately the first time. This is likely one of the largest contributing factors to our low trips per job," says Cody Husk, Lead Technician and owner.

Cody further explains that the accuracy of their technicians' diagnostics gives them the data they need to anticipate common appliance failures, which helps them to prescreen service calls so they arrive to the job with the correct parts for the repair.

This is Cody Appliance Repair's second consecutive award from the United Servicers Association's ASTI convention. In 2015, they were awarded the Most Professional Servicer Award honoring the professionalism and integrity of the company.
