The Canadian Home Builders' Association (CHBA) in the Calgary Region recently announced the full list of finalists for their 2015 SAM Awards.

- Best New Home – $485,000-$549,999 - The Stanford II in Kinniburgh, 132 Kinniburgh Drive, Chestermere
- Best New Home – $620,000-$719,999 - The Richmond in Harmony, 57 Paintbrush Park, Springbank
- Best New Home - $720,000-$849,999 - The Hugo in Harmony, 61 Paintbrush Park, Springbank
- Best New Home - $720,000-$849,999 - The Huntington in Harmony, 53 Paintbrush Park, Springbank
The winners will be announced at the SAM Awards Gala on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the Telus Convention Center. The top five entries in each category will be featured during the evening and the winner in each category will receive the coveted SAM award.
The SAM Awards, now in its 29th year, celebrate and acknowledge the innovation and excellence in Calgary and area's residential construction industry. This year they received over 830 entries, which was on par with last year's record number of entries. This has resulted in a total of 127 companies that are vying for 60 awards in different categories. Of those companies, 95 earned places on the finalist roster.
The awards cover 10 different categories and finalists are chosen through a detailed, rigorous process with industry judges awarding points which are then authenticated by an accounting firm. GRAND SAM Awards are presented to the Builders, Renovator and Partner who have demonstrated a superior achievement in design, sales, advertising and/or service.
