Care. Connect. Create. Series Begins This Fall at Abraham Lincoln University the First Public Series Talk Airs on Wednesday, November 9th

 

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/09/2016 -- Abraham Lincoln University launches a new professional and educational series for its students and the public, "Care. Connect. Create." The series of talks will be hosted each term by ALU faculty to discuss the relationship between education and your career. On November 9th, Dr. Susan Lomeli will host our first class, "Make Education a Priority" The class airs at 12:30pm [PST] and will cover how to better your time-management skills, how to identify your strengths and weaknesses for future success, and more. Dr. Lomeli taught courses at the Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral levels for more than 24 years, specializing in the areas of Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis, Statistics, Research, Capstone, Thesis and Dissertation. For more than 40 years, Dr. Lomeli has worked with such power industries as Ralph M Parsons, Bechtel Power Corporation, Jacobs Engineering, and Edison International.

Join us at 6:00pm [PST] on November 16th for our second series talk, hosted by Professor and Director Jessica Park, "Managing Your Digital Footprints as a Working Professional." Professor Park will go in depth on how to manage your profiles on social media and online sites, how to communicate professionally on blogs and forums, and how to ethically handle privacy and confidentiality concerns. As the Director of the Juris Doctor Program at Abraham Lincoln University, Director Park coordinates course development, outcomes assessment and program compliance. She serves under the Dean of School of Law and as a faculty member, she teaches Future Interests & Mortgages at the fourth year level. Director Park holds a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School and a B.A. in English Literature from Stanford University. As ALU's Chief Information Officer, she coordinates institutional data projects in accordance with higher education regulations in the distance learning field.
