New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/23/2017 -- Celsius Network, a blockchain-based fintech startup, is bringing together a panel of experts to discuss the new wave of fintech innovation facilitated by the blockchain. This event, "Ethereum's Existential Threat -- Where are the Next 100 Million ETH Users?" is organized by SOSA NYC and YJP in collaboration with Celsius Network.

Alex Mashinsky, Celsius Network CEO, thinks that after 10 years of fintech, a new wave of adoption will help fintech and blockchain companies scale in the magnitude to rival traditionalist financial institutions. This event seeks to answer the question, "where will the next 100m ETH users come from?" since the next onslaught of users will bring about the disruptive change that Mashinsky and his team think that blockchain is capable of.

The Celsius Network team believes that the way to bring the 100m users is to innovate the consumer credit space. The firm's product, a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform that utilizes the blockchain open ledger to manage and extend consumer loans, is slated for release next year.

The event is generally intended as an open conversation about the future of the Blockchain. The panel will look out into 2018 and what is to come for ICO's and the future network value of digital currencies.
