New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/01/2016 -- Chase & Papi, a luxury pet concierge, puts many things together to take wellness classes for pets and owners to a completely different level. A Chase & Papi initiative, "Doga & Cocktails" - a series of yoga classes specially designed for dogs and owners will be held on 21st of August 2016, at Emporia Studios in NYC. "Doga" happens to be a portmanteau of two words – 'dog' and 'yoga'.
The "Doga & Cocktails" classes will have a beautiful black and white theme, coupled with a forty-minute Doga session every day, a complimentary snack & cocktail bar for owners and pets, giveaways, and a photographer to capture it all. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Social Tees Animal Rescue, a no-kill animal shelter located in East Village NYC.
"Doga creates a stronger bond with your pet because it balances, harmonizes, purifies and transcends the body and mind of the practitioner", said company founder, Desh Valcin. "Doga combines massage and meditation with gentle stretching for dogs and their human partners and even if you are not a yogi, this class allows you to develop a stronger bond with your furry friend".
Doga, although not a new concept, is unique to many Americans. Desh created the "Doga & Cocktails" class to help pet parents connect and relax with their dog."My class is designed to be a fun experience for both owners and pets. Hence there is an after-party after each session".
All tickets for the Doga classes are priced at $40 and available for purchase at http://www.chasepapi.com.
Valcin maintained that tickets will be sold on a 'first come first serve' basis. The event is sponsored by Shark Tank's Ry Ruffery, Evermore Dog Food, and Dog is Good.
