New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/23/2018 -- Cherrystone Auctions hosted its fourth public stamp auction this year on the 12th and 13th of June, 2018. The stamp sale featured 75+ large lots and collections of Rare U.S. and Worldwide Stamps and Postal History.

Cherrystone Auctions welcomed stamp collectors from all over the world to its June 12-13, 2018 Sale of Rare Stamps and Postal History of the World. As usual, the company hosted the auction in its New York City galleries on 119 West 57th Street. This auction featured properties of various owners and estates, including United States, Great Britain and British Commonwealth, South America, including the Robert T. Lee collection of Guatemala, as well as his Mexico Civil War Issues. There were many interesting lots from European Countries, especially Russia and Poland, as well as Austria, Germany & Italy. A collection of Israel formed by the late Robert J. Cohen was offered in association with Ed Rosen of the House of Zion in California. As always, the sale contained 75+ large lots and collections. A limited number of printed catalogues are available.

Cherrystone Auctions conducted the June 12-13, 2018 Sale of Rare Stamps and Postal History of the World in four sessions. The live auction was conducted as follows. Lots 1-364 from the United States, China and Germany were auctioned from 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 until 1:00 PM. Lots 365-571 from Great Britain and British Commonwealth, Greece and Guatemala were auctioned from 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 until the end of the day. Lots 572-877 from The Robert Cohen Collection of Israel were auctioned from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. And finally, Lots 878-1,300 including all the Large Lots & Collections from Italy, Mexico, Poland, and Russia were auctioned from 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 until the end of that day.
