Children's Book Helps Children Learn to Share

Enumclaw, WA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/15/2016 -- Child rearing experts agree with parents when it comes to children and sharing. "Children have difficulty sharing, especially young children. This is a normal part of the development process. Knowing and accepting this is the first step in helping your child grow up to be a generous person," says Dr. Bill Sears of Ask Dr. Sears, an online source. Among the tips Dr. Sears shares are modeling generosity and playing games to teach sharing.

Author Lisa Hill's new release, Bluebonnet's Egg Adventure: A Down on the Farm Book (Redemption Press) falls into the modeling generosity category. With a target audience of ages three to eight, the theme of the picture book is sharing and solving problems. When Harriett the hen and Blubonnet the cow both want hay from the same box, feathers fly. Soon one of Harriett's eggs disappears. As Harriett and Bluebonnet try to solve the mystery, children are taught the importance of working together, sharing, and learning from each other.
