The announcement comes in light of the company's Channel Manager's decision to donate a kidney to her brother-in-law. The fundraiser will help Brian cover mortgage payments and other bills while he gears up for surgery and recovery.
"Now that the hard part of finding a match for Brian is over, we can focus on the financial aspects of dealing with a disease such as PKD. While bills and mortgage payments pale in comparison to health concerns, they still exist. The fundraiser will take place at Chambers 19 Bistro & Bar in Doylestown, Pennsylvania on November 30, between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. During that five hour period, Chambers 19 will donate 20 percent of its profits to benefit Brian Servis. Furthermore, Chorus Communications will hold a 50-50 raffle, as well as raffles to give away Hair O' The Dog tickets, gift baskets and cards, and other items from local businesses.
