Chorus Communications Hosts 5th Annual Carriers Ball on September 11, 2019

Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/30/2019 -- As Philadelphia's leading data recovery team, Chorus Communications has established itself as one of the telecommunications tech industry's most dominant consulting groups. With such a widely-acclaimed reputation, it's only fitting that Chorus Communications hosts an annual networking event for telecommunications professionals — an event known as the Carriers Ball. Each year at the Chorus Communications Carriers Ball, ten awards are presented to the cloud and tech industry's most accomplished names. This year, the event took place on September 11, 2019, at Union Stage in Washington D.C. during the Channel Partners Evolution Conference.

The Carriers Ball awards were distributed as follows:

—Best IoT: AT&T
—Best Cloud Migration: Flexential
—Best Mobility: Verizon
—Best Colocation: Cyxtera
—Best SD-WAN: Comcast
—Best Cybersecurity: Masergy
—Best Unified Communication: Vonage Business
—Best Call Center: RingCentral
—Channel Champion: Helene Kidary of Onsip
—Partner of the Year: Aaron Andrews

While Chorus Communications hosts the event each year, the winners of each award are decided by a channel-wide voting process. Professionals from the cloud and tech industry — over 25,000 this year — get to cast their vote for their favorite carriers and solutions-providers. The winners are announced during a special awards ceremony, but that's only half of the fun. This year's Carriers Ball had a Beatles theme, and the crowd was not disappointed by a musical performance from the premier Beatles tribute band, The Beat Tells.

Guests at the Carriers Ball also enjoyed the presence of The Racing Presidents, and an extra special performance by The Tech Boys, a band formed by some of the telecommunication industry's most talented professionals. The Tech Boys consists of the following distinguished tech professionals:

—Shane Gossert, TPX; Channel Manager
—Richard Rish, Starken Technologies; President
—Ray Carr, Teligent Solutions; Founder
—Scott Kinka, Evolve IP; Founding Partner
—Rob Molinaro, Chorus; Vice President
—Daniel Cronin, Chorus; President

Each year, the Chorus Communications Carrier ball brings the telecom community together to network, cross-promote, and celebrate each other's successes. Chorus would like to thank all of the event's sponsors for helping to facilitate the festivities: 4River, Vonage Business, Metrospect Event Planning & Management, Viasat, Flexential, AT&T Business, iAgentNetwork, Comcast Business, Netrality Data Centers, Starken Technologies Inc., Teligent IP, Voyant, and TPX Communications.
