Cigarette Packaging Has Now Changed: Sontex Comments

 

Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/09/2017 -- ITV News, a British television network, have updated their site by posting an article stating that there are new cigarette packaging rules which are due to come into force. It has been said that cigarettes are now to be sold in green packaging with graphic warning of the dangers of smoking. Adding to this, there must be a minimum of twenty cigarettes per pack to ensure that the packs are big enough for health warnings. It isn't just cigarette packets which have come under rules, hand-rolled tobacco are also said to be seen in a green colour pouch, containing a minimum of thirty-grams of tobacco in.

The new rules are hoping that it will cut the smokers across the EU by 2.4 million. This is because smoking has been found to be the number one cause of early death, which is preventable. Not only this but it has been found that 200,000 children start smoking each year in the UK.
