Greeley Harley-Davidson in Colorado is revving its engines and making plenty of noise as the host for the ForeverGrateful Charity Raffle. This event benefits American Legion Post 178, Senior Veterans, Inc. and T.A.P.S.; three hugely-deserving Veterans’ charities. This most unique charity raffle will take place on August 30th, with prizes being drawn every 30 minutes. Interested parties are urged to burn rubber and purchase their tickets without delay, because the Grand Prize is no less than a 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim.
Greeley, CO -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/19/2014 -- Don’t stereotype the Harley-Davidson image; these leather-clad and tough-as-nails bikers have true hearts of gold. In fact, one Colorado dealer is about to prove it as they get ready to host one of the nation’s most unique charitable events in support of three national Veterans’ charities.
Greeley Harley-Davidson in Greeley, Colorado, will be hosting the ‘ForeverGrateful Charity Raffle’ at their dealership on August 30th. However, this isn’t just picking a name out of a hat for a $50 gift card or case of wine, but a day-long event that will draw a winner every 30 minutes and see one lucky participant ride away on a 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim. This beautiful new Harley has been generously donated by Steve and Teri Wells of Wells Ranch in Barnesville, CO.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be shared among American Legion Post 178, Senior Veterans, Inc. and T.A.P.S.
“Greeley Harley-Davidson has graciously agreed to act as the host of this premier event. We have plans to continue these events at other dealerships across the nation,” explains David Bolser of Senior Veterans, Inc., which helps disabled war-time veterans secure the VA’s Non-Service Connected Disability Pension. “Americans across the United States are forever grateful for the service of our United States Military, hence we have launched the ‘ForeverGrateful’ brand through which to hold these new events.”
Continuing, “While winners do not need to be present, over thirty prizes will be drawn, at random, throughout the day with the last ticket drawn at 5:00 for the 2014 Softail Slim. Therefore, as long as you have tickets in play, you have a chance to win one of the prizes. We are really counting on participation from members of organizations such as the Harley Owners’ Group or H.O.G. as well as other wonderful organizations featured in the video on our web-site. We encourage everyone to stop by the dealership during the day and participate in the party-like atmosphere.”
Tickets are just $4 and sold in packs of five. Tickets may be purchased only through the web-site. All ticket purchases will be scanned and e-mailed to the purchaser. Purchasers receive an immediate e-mail confirmation receipt.
