Construction Is Worth More Than 5% of the British Economy – Supporting It Well Is Vital

Coleford, Gloucestershire -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/21/2015 -- Recent reports on the construction industry in UK – largely focused on building and building maintenance – have revealed that the sector makes up approximately 6% of Britain's economy. Despite recent months having seen a slow-down in the construction industry, the percentage still stands; highlighting that construction plays a vital role. There have been increased calls for the services sector (which saw rising growth entering December) to help support construction and therefore allow for positive growth into 2016. This includes ensuring that construction workers have adequate infrastructure in place to take projects forward.

In turn, greater unity between construction and service sectors is expected to define the beginning of 2016 – as a recipe for growth. Some industry experts have speculated that the slow-down in construction growth at the end of 2015 may have been significantly due to poor or limited service links – with improvement now a key aim. The previous two months have seen high amounts of rain, and many building sites did not have appropriate services to support them in dealing with water and flooding problems.

Therefore resolutions are in place for businesses to work together, across sectors, in order to build an even stronger 2016 for Britain.

A spokesperson for Insite Portable Accommodation had this to say:

"Providing good support to the construction industry is key and something we are proud to do here at Insite Portable Accommodation. We offer a number of units which can serve both accommodation and storage needs when building tasks are being carried out. We look forward to even greater unity with constructors and builders going into the New Year. Services like ours have a responsibility to provide reliable infrastructure for such a vital sector of the economy."
