Crowdsourced Project Seeks to Help a Canadian Senior Return Home

Proceeds from the sales of a Kickstarter book will fund his one-way ticket back to Toronto

Toronto, ON -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/19/2014 -- Canadian national, Bob Little, fell for the wrong advice when he was told he could live out his retirement on his pension in paradise if he chose to move to the Philippines, where (as he was told), his dollar was worth more and every day would be like paradise.

Now, after a 6 year nightmare and losing his pension for about a year, Bob is trying desperately to escape from a brutal lifestyle with the help of some good Samaritans and Kickstarter. Now, with ISIS raising and spreading it’s ruthless arm in Philippines, Bob need the get out of there.

Kickstarter is a crowd sourced funding site that allows people to contribute to a cause. In this case, the project is funding a book of Bob’s story to cover the cost of his plane ticket home. Florin Marksteiner of Productionmark stepped in and offered to publish the book with no cost hoping to help Bob not only to find his way home but help others with good advice on how not to fall in the same trap.

This book is titled “Trapped: The Shattered Dreams of Paradise” and it follows the 6 year horrific journey of Bob Little, from his lure to the Dreams of Philippines Paradise to his discovery of the dark truth of the terrible conditions and situations in which western foreigners are living.

This project is directing all of the raised funding toward funding Bob’s return ticket home. The project will only receive funds if all $1500 is raised by Wednesday, September 24, 2014.
