Bridgwater, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/09/2015 -- Somerset-based Custom Labels Ltd., a company that specialises in providing quality labels for commercial and industrial use, has announced that it is to move to new, purpose-built premises in Bridgwater.

The company's new site, at Woodlands Court Business Park, is 30% larger than its previous base, and includes 4,500 square feet of usable space, over 500 square feet of which comprises a digital production room, a necessity according to the company, due to the increasing demand for digital printing.

The move, a third upheaval since 1997 for the rapidly growing firm, also places Custom Labels closer to the M5 and the warehouses of a national parcel delivery company, which means increased logistical manoeuvrability and local purchasing power.

The unit is environmentally friendly with low energy LED lighting throughout, and is up-to-date with the latest technological advancements, housing a comprehensive network for central design storage and file sharing.

Custom Labels joins other high-profile ventures at the accessible Woodlands Court Business Park, including St John Ambulance Somerset Headquarters, the soon-to-be-opened Somerset Energy Innovation Centre and the aforementioned national parcel delivery company depot.

Steve Long, the company's production supervisor, is a big fan of the new site, which separates the sales and accounts offices from production areas.

He says that the factory will be "more efficient" as a result, allowing for "smoother workflow due to the improved layout".
