Darcy McMenamin Seeks Funding via Indiegogo for the Market Launch of Eco Thermal Filter System

Environment enthusiast Darcy McMenamin and his team are the creators of Eco Thermal Filter, a system that reduces energy and GHG by capturing the heat from a cook line to preheat the domestic water. The team is looking to launch this eco-friendly product with funding assistance via Indiegogo.

Braintree, MA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/08/2015 -- While running a cook line, all the heat generated is wasted and gets pulled into the hood and released into the environment. The Eco Thermal Filter captures this wasted heat by acting as a replacement for standard grease filters. Structurally speaking, this system is a combination of a patented stainless steel grease filter with a 100% copper heat exchanger inside. Simply by diverting a portion of the ground water entering the restaurant through the Eco Thermal Filters, it is possible to preheat ground water up to a temperature of 125 degrees.

The team led by Darcy McMenamin has been working on this product for nearly eighteen months in redesigning and testing in bringing their perfected model to market. Now installed in over 100 locations, The Eco Thermal Filter System is field tested with proof it works exactly as designed.

The product is made in the United States and installed by certified ETF union installers. At present, the company is looking to introduce this product to many full-service restaurants, schools, universities and prisons and any other establishment that has a full-service kitchen.

Darcy McMenamin is hopeful that the Eco Thermal Filter System will have a serious impact on the society and environment. "The Eco Thermal Filter System shall create manufacturing jobs, create union plumbing jobs, save restaurant owners thousands per year on their energy bills, and also reduce the Green House Gas emissions every time a cook line is turned on, helping to save the environment," he states.

Darcy McMenamin has recently started an Indiegogo campaign to raise $200,000 via Indiegogo. Funds raised through this campaign will allow them to:

- Grow and expand into new territories with the Eco Thermal Filter System.
- Fast track the rate of growth to minimize the hazardous effect of the standard grease filters.
- Educate people about the overall impact of wasted heat on the environment.
- Support the local communities.
