Bethel Park, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/08/2014 -- Darwin Sabanovic started developing high bandwidth oscilloscopes in 2007. The main goal was to develop a high bandwidth, low cost, oscilloscope hardware and PC software with USB interface.

Initial bandwidth target was 1 GHz. 1 GHz Bandwidth was achieved, but since speed of electronics circuitry continues to rise, Darwin realized that 1 GHz bandwidth is not that useful as it used to be. Since then he has gradually achieved the bandwidth of 4, 8 and finally 11 GHz. 

Darwin believes that a product like this should be in stock with price tag around $500. Now, after finding out about Kickstarter platform, he has designed and built a proto of even lower cost, small footprint oscilloscope, while keeping the key performance intact.

Darwin is looking for funding support for two reasons. To reduce cost of any product, the production quantity must be significant. Darwin’s goal is to build at least 500 units so that the price is affordable. The second reason is about building the momentum; it is about giving a new life to this product; it is about making this product a bigger, and a more exciting adventure. 

Developing this product was an exciting, challenging and fun adventure. Now, the creator invites all to support this project and soon they will have a nice tool for exploring fun world of high speed circuitry.

This project will only be funded if at least $80,000 is pledged by Sunday Jan 26, 5:13pm EST.
